  • derailed in a washout at Warren's Gore, VT on 31 March 1998 while pulling a train of trailers on flat cars loaded with paper on the St Lawrence and Atlantic Railway. Locomotive rolled over on its side and was partially submerged in mud. The crew was not seriously injured but Someone stole the bell before the locomotive was recovered.
    lifted out of hole early July 1998 and moved to Norton VT in mid-October 1998
    towed to Montreal for further evaluation
